2007 Milestones
- HBAS Celebrates its 5th Anniversary
2006 Milestones
- Granted Special Interest Group Status by Harvard Alumni Association
- Hosted 4th Annual Reunion Reception
- Sponsored 4th Harvard Black Alumni Weekend - 700+ Attendees
- HBAS Development Chair Raises $19,000
- D. Anderson, R. Lachman, S. Butts Join the HBAS National Steering Committee
- Launched HBAS San Francisco and HBAS Houston
2005 Milestones
- Organized 3rd Annual Admitted Students Phon-A-Thon
- 1st in Person National Steering Committee Retreat
- Sponsored Holiday Parties in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, L.A., New York, Washington D.C.
- R. Joseph Joins National Steering Committee as Treasurer
- J. Young Joins National Steering Committee as HBAS Development Chair
2004 Milestones
- Launched Black Alumni Mentoring ("BAM") Program
- Launched HBAS New York Chapter
- Hosted HBAS Soul Brunch in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles
- Launched HBAS Website
- V. Shannon Joins National Steering Committee as HBAS Student Affairs Chair
2003 Milestones
- Hosted 1st Undergraduate Senior Thesis
- Sponsored 1st Black Alumni Reunion Reception
- Granted 501(c)(3) Not For Profit Tax Status by the Internal Revenue Service
- Organized Third Harvard Black Alumni Weekend - 600+ Attendees
- Hosted HBAS Holiday Parties in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles
2002 Milestones
- First meeting with attendants from classes 1997-2003
- Research begins to find all of the black alumni of Harvard College
- The founders christen the group "HBAS"
- The HBAS National Steering Committee is established
