Habari gani? That’s Swahili for “what is the news”? The news is that the Kuumba Singers of Harvard University are celebrating their 40^th anniversary and their Spring Tour is to Atlanta. Named after the Swahili term for “creativity,” the Kuumba Singers are presenting four free public concerts in Atlanta from March 14 to March 19, 2010! There are many Kuumba alumni in Atlanta. Please join us for at least one very special performance by this diverse group of current Harvard students dedicated to “Celebrating Black Creativity and Spirituality Since 1970.”
