Harvard Black Alumni Society of New York along with the Brooklyn Public Library will celebrate Black History Month by hosting an event featuring the work of award-winning filmmaker and Harvard alumnus Thomas Allen Harris AB ’84. 

Harris will be presenting a new media platform called DIGITAL DIASPORA FAMILY REUNION, which taps into a vast network of black photographic archives from individuals and families from across the country to bring a fresh look at African American history and community.  This event is FREE and open to all Harvard alumni and friends who would like to participate in this national initiative to capture the Black experience through photography from all angles. Learn more about this exciting project at www.throughalensdarkly.net.
