An Evening with the Experts: Volunteers Needed

Be a part of a movement to revitalize Anacostia by bringing your expertise, skills and talents to local business owners, artists and nonprofit leaders in an up and coming community.
The Creative Economy and Entrepreneurial Development Initiative (CEED) is a project of Arch Development and is funded by the Department of Housing and Community Development. The project’s goal is to bring viability to existing small businesses or nonprofits, to help launch new businesses and to rejuvenate historic Anacostia with a creative twist.

On September 16th we are hosting an Evening with the Experts.  We are looking for volunteers who are willing to share their expertise with local business owners, artists or nonprofit leaders.
  • Do you have expertise in small business development?
  • Are you a venture capitalist interested in sharing tips with business owners?
  • Do you have expertise in marketing or branding businesses?
  • Have you led or have experience with nonprofits and want to share your learning?
  • Do you have a skill that you believe would benefit the growth of our creative economy?
If yes, join us on September 16th. The evening begins with a reception at 6pm at the Honfleur Gallery.  Each expert conducts consultation sessions with the applicable business owners, nonprofit leaders or artists.

If interested in volunteering, please contact Tiffany Quivers at tquivers@gmail.com by Monday, September 6, 2010.

Thank you!
