HBAS is currently looking for dedicated members to serve on its newly formed Fundraising CommitteeThe HBAS Fundraising Committee will focus on three primary objectives: 1) building and strengthening alliances with strategic partners (i.e. luxury goods brands, industry leading employers, etc.), 2) increasing the consistency and volume of alumni contributions to the HBAS Annual Fund; and 3) developing long-term financial strategy to fund in perpetuity existing and future HBAS initiatives, including but not limited to Harvard Black Alumni Weekend, HBAS Public Service Fellowship and the HBAS Public Service Fellowship
Ideal candidates for the HBAS Fundraising Committee are enthusiastic individuals eager to help design, execute, and maintain a comprehensive three to five year fundraising strategy including, but not limited to alumni giving, strategic corporate partnerships, and certain entrepreneurial opportunities. Prospective Committee Members should be self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with excellent written / oral communication skills. Prospective Committee Members should also have time /flexibility to interface with potential donors /partners, as well as attend in-person or by phone committee Meetings.
Candidates with significant non-profit fundraising experience and / or significant marketing / strategic planning experience are especially encouraged to apply.
