Trust Me!! This is a BAW You Don't Want to Miss

Harvard Black Alumni Society

Dear Fellow Alumni:

Loosen up and get ready for a great time!!! I promise you there will be plenty of serious conversations/debates to satisfy those individuals who still crave intellectual stimulation. For those of you who are just looking to party, we'll be doing the electric slide and the soldier boy all weekend long.

As of 5pm yesterday, over 550 alumni had registered for BAW and we are expecting an estimated 150 to 200 alumni to register on site.  This means that BAW 2009 could possibly break the attendance record set in 2003, when over 700 black alumni and students descended on Cambridge for a weekend long celebration of everything black and crimson. Plus, this weekend represents a rare opportunity for us to come together as a community and celebrate the landmark election of the 44th President of the United States of America. No the Obamas won't be there, but I'm sure one of their friends or maybe someone who took a class with them will be.

If you have not registered yet, you can do so onsite.

Again,  you can see who’s coming to this magnificent affair online at http://post.harvard.edu/hbaw09/images/attendees.pdf.

In case you missed the last ten emails, this is going to be an exciting jam packed weekend that you don’t want to miss.
