The Harvard Black Alumni Society has created a national listserv to communicate with Black graduates of Harvard University. As of May 1st, 2004, there were over 1,500 Harvard Black Alumni subscribed to this list serv, and this number is still growing. The HBAS National Steering Committee will use this listserv to distribute its monthly e-newsletter, HBASMonthly, which contains among other things, a monthly national steering committee report, class announcements, and news of upcoming cultural, professional, or academic events at the University which are of interest to the black alumni community. If you would like to be included on this list, please send an email with your name, class year, and email address to HBAS-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

HBAS has also created local list servs to publicize HBAS events sponsored in major cities across the country and abroad (i.e. Harvard club events, admitted students receptions, alumni happy hours, holiday parties, etc.). If you would like to be included on one of these lists, please send an email with your name, class year, and email address to the respective email address for your city with your name, class year, and degree.
